Observer

The moon lights up each street, false nook and turn.
The men, lit up, push on as candles burn.
Meticulous and swift beyond compare.
Each second a success they cannot share.

He observes from dark corners here and there
To find something to watch, someone to stare.
Sharp ears, peeled eyes heed everything around
He looks, leeches and learns without a sound.
